Coronavirus (Covid19)





If you have a cough, fever or flu like symptoms visit 


To help protect you from coronavirus our receptionist will ask you a series of questions when you telephone us (0161 223 5226). We ask that you answer these questions as truthfully as possible. We will not be to offer you an appointment unless you have spoken to one of team and have been questioned.

Please do not come to the surgery. The surgery doors are closed and only those that have been questioned by one of our team will be allowed in.  

If you require a prescription please contact your local pharmacy to arrange this or request it through the NHS app or our website. Alternatively phone 0161 223 5226 and speak to a receptionists.

DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY to request your prescription as you will be turned away.

If you require a home visit and have a cough or high temperature or are having to self-isolate or live with one who is, please contact NHS 111 by calling them or visiting their website. NHS111 have a special team that can visit you. Please call the surgery and speak to a receptionist if this does not apply to you and our reception team will advise you further.    

Please be patient and kind to our staff at this difficult time. We are trying our best to keep our vulnerable patients and our staff as save as possible. We thank you in advance. 


We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded Outstanding by the CQC in both 2017 and 2020. This is the best result we could have gotten and the Practice team has worked very hard to achieve it. The whole team has worked very and we are very proud of them all. 

Patient Participation Group

We are looking to develop our Patient Participation Group. Some of you may already receive emails from with information about what is happening in the practice. We would like to develop this further by holding a group meeting once every three months. Please either register your interest here or ask a reception for a sign-up sheet. 

COPD Keep-fit club

Every Wednesday the practice holds a keep-fit club for some of our COPD patients. Please ask at reception for further details or Come along at 1 pm on Wednesday. This is club is currently only open to those patients with COPD.
